This month's presentation will be:

Opening Evaluation: Increasing the Visibility and Impact of Our Work
Presented by Crystal Steltenpohl, Center for Open Science

In an era of rapidly evolving federal (and other) guidance on what makes for transparent and rigorous research, the potential impact on evaluation remains unclear. Even beyond grant requirements, evaluators have long asked how to improve the visibility and impact of our work. Join us for a brief presentation and conversation around the intersections between open scholarship and evaluation, challenges that lay ahead for the field, and potential venues for collaboration, co-learning, and problem solving as the landscape of open evaluation continues to develop.

The mission of the Center for Program Evaluation (CPE) is to conduct research on program evaluation methods as well as to offer evaluation planning, consulting, training and services for the university, regional and global community. CPE offers program evaluation services that support the university’s missions of research, teaching, and service to the community and industry for both faculty and students.
