If you haven’t already done so, it’s time to sign up for the 2023 Faculty Symposium!

Hosted by the Office of the Provost and the Office of Research and Innovation, the Faculty Symposium is a chance to recognize and celebrate faculty accomplishments in research, creative works, teaching, advising, mentorship, and community engagement. This year, the symposium is taking place on Dec. 5 from 1 to 7:30 p.m. at University Crossing. The full agenda will be announced soon.

Also, you may now sign up to present a 90-second lightning talk where faculty members from all disciplines give quick synopses of their current research and other scholarly work. Please register and submit materials for your lightning talk.

New this year: We plan to display books that have been authored by full-time and part-time UMass Lowell faculty and emeriti. If you would like your book to be included at the event and to be shelved later at the Faculty Success Center, please complete the form to donate your book.

The goal of the symposium is for faculty to celebrate accomplishments, learn from one another and spark interdisciplinary collaborations. We hope to see you there.
