Join us in dedicating the second floor of Ball Hall in honor of Gyanendra Gupta ’78, recognizing his generous support through an estate gift of more than $1 million to support UMass Lowell. The gift will fund renovations to the UML plastics engineering building and a scholarship he created for UML engineering students in honor of the late Prof. Rudolph Deanin who showed Gupta and other international students kindness and support. After Gupta graduated with his master’s degree in plastics engineering in 1978, he embarked on a successful career at prestigious companies including Bausch & Lomb, Texas Instruments, Raytheon and DRS Infrared Technologies. Hear from university leaders on the difference his gift will make as we name the floor in his honor.
