The spring semester might be over, but the UML campus is just heating up! From summer courses to the DifferenceMaker Demo Day, there are many ways to learn and grow as a community this season. Whatever your plans, the UML Library staff is ready to answer questions and connect you to a wealth of research material.

This summer, we are excited to announce new and improved library services to connect with students, faculty, and staff. First, we are expanding our popular Live Chat service to cover afternoon AND evening hours! From July 5 through Sept. 1, you can chat with a reference librarian in real time, Monday-Friday from 12:30-2:30 p.m. and Monday-Thursday from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Visit uml.libanswers.com to start chatting soon.

Also new for this summer is our bookable Video Consultation service! Now you can reserve a virtual appointment to meet with a reference librarian via Microsoft Teams video. Appointments are generally available July 5 through Sept. 1, Monday-Thursday from 2:30-4:30 p.m. To book your research consultation or check for other appointment times, send an email to ask@uml.libanswers.com. Please make reservations 24 hours in advance.

Can't make it to Live Chat or Video Consultation hours? No problem! You can reach out to the reference librarians at any time by sending an email to ask@uml.libanswers.com.
