At 10 a.m. in University Crossing (UCC 242) he will present a lecture titled: "Undocumentedness as Disruption: Undocu-Queer Aesthetics and the Right to Thrive."
At 12:30 p.m. there will be an open dialogue titled: "Reading Across Archives and Traditions: Queer and Trans* Aesthetics in Latin America." This will also be in University Crossing, but one floor up, in UCC 370. In this second event, Sánchez Cruz will engage the group in a conversation about his research, writing, and teaching strategies.

Jorge Sánchez Cruz is Visiting Assistant Professor of Spanish in the Department of Romance Languages and Literatures at Harvard University. His work has appeared and is forthcoming in Palgrave Macmillan’s series Global Queer Politics, TSQ, Méster, and the Revista de estudios de género. He is currently working on a book manuscript titled “Aesthetics of Dissent: AIDS and Sexual Politics in the Americas."
