The Office of Alumni & Donor Relations is recruiting for the 2023-2024 Student Alumni Ambassador program and asking for your assistance in finding students who might be interested in applying. Your guidance will help us continue our tradition of giving UMass Lowell students a unique experience to learn new skills and connect with the university community.

Our Student Alumni Ambassadors (SAA) have told us the ambassador program makes a positive and impactful difference in their lives. We teach ambassadors how to represent UMass Lowell in a professional manner, coach them through how to talk to faculty, alumni and donors and instruct them on staffing both small and large university events.

Through the SAA program, they connect with alumni, network for future jobs and learn about the role philanthropy plays in enhancing the university experience for students. They also meet students in different academic programs and have the opportunity to work on fundraising projects together.

In 2022-2023, we had a remarkable group of students who inspired and impressed us with their professionalism and enthusiasm.

If you would like, Reja Gamble, ambassador advisor, can share information about the SAA program at one of your department or college meetings. Visit the Student Alumni Ambassador website to learn about the student ambassadors’ experiences.

We hope you and your faculty and staff will share information about the ambassador program with candidates who you believe are qualified and could benefit from this program. Please pass along this link where students can find information and the application.

We are accepting applications through Tuesday, April 25.
