Presentation by UML MSPT and DNP Alum Karla Bell 3/29

Join us for a virtual presentation by Karla Bell, PT, DPT, PhD(c) on Wednesday, March 29 on the topic of LGBTQ+ Health & Cultural Safety. 

Bell is an alum of UMass Lowell, and provides training in sexual and gender minority health. This talk will include some fundamentals, an overview of determinants of health (social, structural, political), and basic inclusive practices. Immediately following the Q&A session, we will be hosting a brief in-person discussion.

Please note, there are two options for participating:

1. In-Person Watch Party in HSS-150, where we will gather to watch the presentation together, and then have a brief discussion afterward. Food will be provided.

2. Virtual viewing on your own. You are welcome to join us for the in-person discussion afterward!
