Do you want a chance to learn about cutting-edge, wearable technology?

We're recruiting participants for a short experiment on Legible Co-Adaptation of Wearable Devices for As-Needed Motion Assistance THIS WEEK between Wednesday, March 22 - Friday, March 24, with possible overflow into next week.

About the study:

  • UMass Lowell researchers are investigating how people utilize a robotic arm exoskeleton/brace during reaching and grasping tasks with their arm.
  • This study has one, 1- to 2-hr session, including rest breaks and setup.
  • Gift card will be provided at the rate of $15/hour to compensate for your time spent in the study.
  • The study takes place at the NERVE Center, 110 Canal St., Lowell, MA 01852, parking validations are provided.

You can take part in this study if:

  • You are free of illness or any medical condition.
  • You are between 18 and 30.
  • You don’t have history of neurological problems, major upper extremity injuries, or pain in the arms or spine that prevent you from wearing and using the wearable device or limit your arm/hand movement.
