The Kennedy College of Sciences Lecture Series on Science and Society, sponsored by Eric and Lola Chaisson, is proud to welcome Dr. Emery N. Brown for an informative lecture on how new discoveries in the field of neuroscience can help us understand the effects of different classes of anesthesia, as well as how anesthesia impacts patients at various ages.

Emery N. Brown, M.D., Ph.D. is the Edward Hood Taplin Professor of Medical Engineering and Computational Neuroscience at MIT, the Warren M. Zapol Professor of Anesthesia at Harvard Medical School and an anesthesiologist at Massachusetts General Hospital.
