The ADVANCE Office for Faculty Equity, following the work from the student group, created a survey to address the current and future childcare needs of UML student parents. We want to encourage everyone to reply so that we have a solid sense of the needs of all students on our campus.

The survey is open to all students, independent of their parental status, to ensure every individual at UML who wants to contribute to the discussion about what potential future resources are needed on-campus is given a voice. Additional questions are addressed for current parents of school-aged child(ren) and/or preschool-aged children, as well as individuals expecting a newborn in the next nine months. We want to be able to determine, at this moment in time, what current childcare arrangements are most utilized and needed by our students at UMass Lowell. Our goal is to use this information to inform future decisions about new childcare resources and supports for the UML community.

The survey takes a maximum of 10 minutes to complete and can be accessed on your desktop or mobile devices. Please be assured that the survey is entirely voluntary and all responses will be anonymous. Aggregated summaries of responses will be used to inform future UML planning around childcare supports.

Complete the survey before end of day on Oct. 1, 2022.
