Save the date to bring your class to "What Letter are You" on Thursday, December 1, 12:30- 1:30 p.m. at Alumni Hall.

The GE2 and Wilson Center for Entrepreneurship invite faculty to bring your class to a presentation that connects science, engineering, and business, with future career possibilities. Arrive at 12:15 p.m. for pizza, provided at the event.

Howie Rosen will reflect on his career in the life sciences in small, medium and large companies, and provide suggestions on how to find the best place for yourself. And as a bonus - questions about cycling across the USA will be answered!
Howie Rosen is an independent consultant to the biotechnology industry. He also serves on several boards, as well as being a Lecturer in both Management and in Chemical Engineering at Stanford University.
Howie has served as CEO, Chairman and Board Member of AcelRx (NASDAQ: ACRX) Pharmaceuticals, Inc., and as Chairman and Board Member at Kala Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ: KALA). He also is a member of several private company boards. From 2004 to 2008, he was VP of Commercial Strategy at Gilead Sciences, Inc. where his responsibilities included strategic marketing, global brand management, health economics, competitive intelligence, market research and Gilead’s overall portfolio and business planning. Prior to joining Gilead, Howie was President of Alza Corporation, including post acquisition by Johnson & Johnson.
