Faculty and staff are invited to participate in open forums with Chancellor Julie Chen and Executive Cabinet members who will provide the latest updates on the fall semester.

Continuing the conversations she’s been having across campus during the summer, the chancellor will discuss her vision and priorities for UMass Lowell as well as lay out a timeline for a new strategic planning process this fall. Chen will outline how to get involved in the planning and share details on how to provide input through a survey planned for mid-September.

A forum on South Campus will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 6 in Coburn Hall Room 255. The meeting will also be viewable via Zoom.

A second forum presenting the same content from university leaders will be held on North Campus from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 7 in the Saab ETIC Atrium and will also be streamed via Zoom.

Lunch will be provided and attendees are asked to RSVP for the Sept. 6 Open Forum or the Sept. 7 Open Forum to help gauge the number of meals needed.

Faculty and staff will have the opportunity to ask questions in person and can also submit questions beforehand at any time through the online form.

Both forums will be recorded and shared through the announcements for those unable to watch live.
