We are currently looking for more female volunteers to participate in the study.

Project title: Fabric-embedded Dynamic Sensing for Adaptive Exoskeleton Assistance
(20-057-YAN-XPD; approval date: 04/17/2020)

UMass Lowell researchers are conducting research investigating how exercise-induced physical fatigue affects human performance with or without wearing powered leg braces/boots.

This study has three components of testing. Each component of the testing will involve 1-4 testing sessions and each session will take about 2-5 hours to complete including rest breaks and setup. You can choose to participate in one, two, or all components of the testing if available.

You can take part in this study if:
- You don’t have history of neurological problems, major leg, or spine that limit walking, running, or performing mobility activities
- You are free of illness or any medical condition.
- You are between 19 and 39 years old.

Gift card will be provided at the rate of $15/hour to compensate for your time spent in the study.
