As part of Spring into Science Week by Kennedy College of Sciences, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., undergraduate student Liam Neely will speak on What’s in the Sky Tonight followed by graduate student Thaddeus Potter, who will present "High Altitude Balloons and the Search for Exoplanets: The PICTURE-C Observatory" in Mahoney Hall 116. After the talk, all are invited to visit the Observatory on the South Campus field where astronomers will be on hand to offer views through the telescopes (weather permitting) throughout the evening. until 9 p.m. Sunset will be 7:26 p.m.
