The Spring Career Fair on Wednesday, March 23 and the Law Enforcement & Security Career Fair on Thursday, March 31 will bring more than 200 employers to campus to meet our students and young alumni.
With the broad range of career interests of our students, a career fair may not have something for everyone. However, these two fairs have something for a lot. Nearly 50 industries are represented. Employers are looking to hire for full-time jobs as well as summer internships and co-ops. (And if the opportunity is not at a fair, our recruiting platform, Handshake, likely has it instead.)
We’ve been getting the word out through email, social media, Hawki ads, and old-fashioned canvassing. We could use your help though. As faculty, administrators, and staff who connect with students, a little encouragement from you will go a long way in helping students feel that they can succeed at a fair. Thank you in advance for inviting our students to attend these fairs.
In talking with students who may be unsure about their career interests, our career advisors can work with them on their planning, and not just their job search.
