The entire campus community — students, faculty and staff — is invited to participate in our first Open Forum event for UML’s 2023 comprehensive accreditation self-study report on Friday, April 1 from 10 to 11:15 a.m. Moloney Hall at University Crossing (UCC-260).

More than 50 people are developing the written report we will send to our institutional accreditor, the New England Commission of Higher Education (NECHE). The report will address most every aspect of campus, from mission to degree programs, from residence halls to faculty hiring, and everything in between. This process is a chance for the entire UML community to reflect upon what we are doing, what’s working, what needs more work and how our decision-making is affecting campus community members. To do that, we need to gather insights and information from all across campus.

Do you have a story we should hear? Is there a topic or exemplary effort we should be sure to include? Do you have questions for us? Please come and share your thoughts! If you can’t make the whole session, drop in for part. If you can’t make it in person, drop us a line at NECHE2023@uml.edu. We will host a virtual session in the near future to continue to gather your input and experiences.
