The Social Justice and Inclusion Council will hold an open forum at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 15 in Alumni Hall to provide faculty and staff an opportunity to provide feedback on the draft Equity Framework Action Plan (doc) centered around five Pillars of Inclusive Excellence. Faculty and staff RSVP now. A student-focused forum will be held at 5:30 p.m. in Moloney Hall the same day.

A Zoom version of this faculty and staff forum is being planned for the week of Feb. 21.

This meeting is one of a series this semester intended to update the community on the work of the council.

March

Joint meeting of the Sexual Harassment Task force (2019) and the subsequent Task Force on Gender and Sex-based Discrimination Prevention (2020) to discuss progress implementing the 2019 group’s recommendations.

April

Campus-wide presentation to roll out approved strategies and new programs to strengthen diversity, equity and inclusion efforts; celebrate achievements, successes and initial outcomes; and lay out an action plan that establishes new goals, timelines and opportunities for improvement.
