With direction from our Dean of Academic Services, Kerry Donohoe under the Council of Advisors, this is the Advising Training & Development Task Force’s fifth year running these Faculty Advising Blueprints, as it was identified as a need from all Deans in 2017. Most returning faculty are aware of the Advising Blueprints, and attend for refreshers in advising, while new faculty are welcome to join to learn the ins and outs.

“The Faculty Advising Blueprint" will cover the ins and outs of advising when it comes to SiS, Faculty Center, Remote Advising, Student Mental Health, Advisement Reports, and Degree Pathways. Presenters will also go into depth on the following: how to use the Class Search, Schedule Builder, UML’s Professional Advising Model, Advising Caseloads, NACADA, and more! New and returning advisors are welcome to join. We want all of the faculty ready and comfortable advising!
