UMass Lowell Sustainability and Information Technology are pleased to present Fall into Recycling to the UMass Lowell Community. Students, faculty, staff, and alumni are invited to participate in the free and secure recycling of mixed electronics, appliances, confidential shredding, and more! Fall into Recycling is an event held at no cost to participants, and will be taking place rain or shine on the following dates:

  • Monday, Oct. 25, 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. at Salem Street Parking Lot, University Crossing
  • Thursday, Oct. 28, 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. at Wilder Street Parking Lot, South Campus

Members of the UMass Lowell Community may take advantage of free, secure recycling of the following items:

  • Appliances
  • Mixed Electronics
  • Confidential Document Shredding
  • Batteries
  • Ink and Toner Cartridges
  • Lightbulbs and Light Fixtures
  • Hard Styrofoam

Items that will not be accepted include hazardous waste materials (paint, stain, cleaning products), furniture, or construction materials (flooring, miscellaneous metal, wood, plastic).
