UML faculty, staff and alumni/ae have worked with community partners to develop an exciting calendar of events and activities in the 2021 Lowell Learning Festival

Check out individual events, including 

  • "Climate and community, what can we do about it?", a Climate Change Initiative hybrid event on Oct. 14 and
  • "The Pandemic Story Project: Oral Histories from Lowell and Lawrence" featuring oral histories from people living or working in Lowell and Lawrence about their experiences during the COVID-19 Pandemic. This virtual event will feature Susan Thomson Tripathy, UML Sociology Department; Susan Grabski, Executive Director of the Lawrence History Center; Chris Medeiros, a third-year student at UMass Lowell; and recent UML alumna Nejaray "Gigi" Torres.
