Abstract:
Advanced statistical techniques such as multi-variate hypergeometric distributions (MVHG), stochastic algorithms, machine learning algorithms (ML) & computational techniques from dynamic programming, heuristics & meta-heuristics have been proposed in building models aimed at solving some of the nuclear inspection and safeguards problems of International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). The proposed research will develop a model to compute stratum level defect detection probability using deterministic & stochastic techniques and extend it to state level concepts.
All interested students and faculty members are invited to attend the online defense via remote access.
