UMass Lowell will host a mobile COVID-19 vaccination clinic for students and employees in the Salem Street Lot next to University Crossing from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 23. The clinic is a follow-up session for those who received their first shot at the clinic in late August.
Run in conjunction with City of Lowell Board of Health and with language capacity in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, the clinic will offer the two-dose series Pfizer and Moderna vaccines as well as the single dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine.
UML IDs (UCards) are required to verify you are a member of the UML community. You do not need to bring an insurance card with you.
Students and employees who have received their first dose the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines must receive their second dose and upload their updated vaccine card to be considered fully compliant with the university’s vaccine requirement.
Anyone who was vaccinated at the UMass Lowell clinics in August who is coming for a second dose of Pfizer and Moderna should bring their white vaccine card to the clinic for updating.
Those who were vaccinated at other locations who are due for their second dose are also encouraged to come to this on-campus clinic to get their final dose and will need to bring their white CDC vaccine card to the clinic to verify they are eligible for their second dose.
No booster shots will be available at this clinic.
Supervisors are asked to be flexible with employees who wish to visit the clinic during their shifts and employees should check with their supervisors before visiting the clinic, which will be moved inside to University Crossing in the event of inclement weather.
More information on vaccinations is available at the Lowell Board of Health’s website. COVID-19 vaccinations are available at any time throughout the state and can be found via the state’s vaccination-finder website.
