As the semester begins, Student & Family Support Services would like to highlight to all members of the UML community that the UMass Lowell Food Pantry is here to help meet the needs of our community around food insecurity.

As we prepare to launch operations for the fall semester in a way that meets the health and safety needs of campus, the food pantry will continue to utilize an online ordering system.

Online Ordering System

  1. Those accessing the survey, may be provided the UML Food Pantry Online Form. This will is also available on the Food Pantry website
We are encouraging those not to arrive to the food pantry without submitting their online order. The food pantry will not be operating for in-person shopping, only for pick-up of online orders.
  2. Once the survey is submitted, the order will be filled and ready for pick-up at the food pantry the next day.
  3. Pick-up location will be at the UMass Lowell Food Pantry, located in University Crossing Room 104. The entrance is off to the left of the Solution Center.
  4. When they arrive, pantry staff will be there to greet them and distribute the orders.
  5. Masks are required. We are continuing to follow the campus mask mandate. If needed, there will be limited stock of masks available at the food pantry as well.

Hours of the Food Pantry

Days: Monday-Friday
Times: noon-7 p.m. (mornings are prepping orders for that day)
We will explore additional hours, based on need once the semester has started.
