Facilities Management is in the process of replacing the lighting for the Riverside parking lots on North Campus. When complete, this project will result in a dramatic reduction in energy consumption, more consistent light levels across the parking lots, reduced light pollution, and replacement of severely deteriorated fixtures. Supply chain disruptions have caused unanticipated delays in the delivery of the permanent light fixtures, which will now arrive early in the Fall with installation scheduled on subsequent weekends. To ensure reasonable light coverage for the lot until that time, the contractor will be installing temporary fixtures. The temporary fixtures will be removed for reuse on other sites once the permanent ones arrive. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience.
