Project title: Fabric-embedded Dynamic Sensing for Adaptive Exoskeleton Assistance
(20-057-YAN-XPD; approval date: 04/17/2020)
- UMass Lowell researchers are conducting research investigating how exercise-induced physical fatigue affects human performance with or without wearing powered leg braces/boots.
- This study has three components of testing. Each component of the testing will involve 1-4 testing sessions and each session will take about 2-5 hours to complete including rest breaks and setup. You can choose to participate in one, two, or all components of the testing if available.
- You can take part in this study if:
- You don’t have history of neurological problems, major leg, or spine that limit walking, running, or performing mobility activities
- You are free of illness or any medical condition.
- You are between 19 and 39 years old.
Gift card will be provided at the rate of $15/hour to compensate for your time spent in the study.
