As we prepare for the long holiday weekend in observance of Patriots Day, your proactive assistance in conserving energy is requested and encouraged. Small efforts to conserve energy during this period can help our shared environment and avoid any unnecessary utility costs. The most important action you can take is to make a concerted effort to close windows tightly and draw curtains.
Before you depart for the long holiday weekend, please make an extra effort to conserve by shutting off/unplugging:
- All lights
- Computers
- Speakers
- Printers
- Copy machines
- Desk lights
- Clock radios
- Coffee pots
- Cell phone and other chargers
- Microwaves, other electrical items
- Lab Hoods
