What are the conditions that make new diseases emerge and old ones come back to haunt us? What is SARS-CoV-2 teaching us about future pandemics? Professor Tim Ford, who chairs the Department of Biomedical and Nutritional Sciences, will share his research on waterborne diseases such as cholera and the strategies that contain them. He’ll discuss the lessons that this pandemic teaches us about global health and how to prevent and manage future pandemics. This webinar, facilitated by Richard Juknavorian ’98, who serves as vice president of Centene Corp., promises to be an engaging and interactive discussion.

The talk is hosted by the Zuckerberg College of Health Sciences.
