The Atlanta attacks on eight women, the majority of whom were Asian, are deeply upsetting hate crimes. This is the most recent example of a disturbing rise in acts of violence and hate directed toward the Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) community. The Office of Multicultural Affairs condemns these acts and stands in support of the AAPI community.
