Italian rapper, writer, and activist Amir Issa will join us on Wednesday, March 31 for a conversation on immigration, racism, and second generation immigrants in Italy.
Born and raised in Rome from an Italian mother and an Egyptian father, Amir Issa is an internationally renowned artist and social activist who has held rap writing workshops in schools, prisons, and colleges across the world. In 2017, he published "Vivo per questo” an autobiographical book that was praised as one of the best books for young adults.
