Exploration of Career and Technical Education Program Evaluation: A Systematic Literature Review
Presenter: Jaime Vallejos
Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs and Career and Technical School Organizations (CTSOs) aim to prepare students for post-high school employment, credentialing, and higher education preparedness. The purpose of this study was to conduct a systematic review of published literature in search of CTE & CTSO evaluation studies. During this presentation, the study’s principal investigator Jaime F. Vallejos MD, MPH, discusses the findings and potential next steps.
The mission of the Center for Program Evaluation (CPE) is to conduct research on program evaluation methods as well as to offer evaluation planning, consulting, training and services for the university, regional and global community. CPE offers program evaluation services that support the university’s missions of research, teaching, and service to the community and industry for both faculty and students.
