Join the UMass Lowell Outdoor Adventure Program for Hybrid Adventure Weekends!

Adventure on your own terms 1 hour a day for 4 days! Join us for Hybrid Virtual Adventure Weekend!

All levels of experience and ability welcome! Commit to at least an hour a day of independent, self-directed, self-defined adventure for four consecutive days. Adventure activities could be anything participants want to do as long as it’s "adventurous," appropriate and they are reasonably sure they can pull it off safely without direct staff supervision. Some examples include: take a hike in a new place, try a new outdoor activity, do a bike trip, camp in the back yard, take a night trip to the beach, cook an outdoor meal on a camp stove, drive down some unknown roads, spend the day in the middle of a field, endeavor to learn new outdoor skills. Adventures can be as creative as you want to make them!

Each evening join us for facilitated group discussions with the Outdoor Adventure Program Staff. We’ll focus our discussion on connecting with each other in community, sharing stories and pictures of our adventures, discuss the impacts of what we are doing on our mental health and wellbeing, brainstorm more creative adventures and have some fun. All levels of experience and ability welcome!
