Whether you call it an elevator speech or idea pitch, the ability to clearly and concisely communicate your research proposal idea is a critical first step to getting an award. At the Grant Proposal Pitch Sessions workshop, faculty present a 3-minute pitch of their research proposal idea to a group of peer reviewers (including other "pitchers") and will receive immediate feedback, both verbal and written. The pitch session is designed to help faculty focus on the most important aspects of their project and impact.
One-hour sessions will be held on Friday, Feb. 5 at 10 a.m., 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 2 p.m.
