All are welcome beginning at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 11 to hear talks related to the upcoming Lunar Eclipse!

  • “How to Photograph the May 15th Total Eclipse of the Moon” by veteran astrophotographers Imelda Joson and Edwin Aguirre. They will share tips and techniques on how to capture souvenir photos of the total lunar eclipse with your cellphones and digital cameras. Dugan 101
  • “Lunar Eclipses: Facts and Myths” and “What’s Up in the Sky Tonight” will be presented by Physics Graduate Student, Sayantan Bhattacharya. Dugan 101
  • Astronomers will be on hand to offer views through the telescopes (weather permitting) throughout the evening (sunset is at 7:43pm) until 9 p.m. South campus field
