We’re so fortunate here at UMass Lowell to have many faculty and staff maintain lifelong connections to alumni, corporate partners and friends who support our work. Often, these friends will show their philanthropic support in the form of cash, checks, credit cards, stock transfers, gifts-in-kind (equipment, software, software licenses, printed materials, food or beverages used for hosting receptions), real estate, personal property (collections of art, books, coins, magazines, videos) and intellectual property (patents, copyrights, software under development).
In those instances, please reach out to the Advancement Office with the details of the gift, so we can properly acknowledge the donation and, where applicable, issue a tax receipt to the donor. That will allow us to provide the best possible stewardship in appreciation of the kindness of our friends. Please contact Cindy Puleo at
