The Art Student Union is creating a virtual art show from a collection of postcards, focusing on the themes of promoting and supporting the value of black lives in this country and on campus. The art show will open during MLK week, in a collaboration with the Black Student Union.

If you support the Black Lives Matter movement, or would like to show your support to the school and student body, take part in this project by making a postcard and sending it in.

Anyone who is affiliated with the school can participate, including faculty, students, staff and alumni.

We will accept work throughout MLK week, ending Jan. 22, and the collection will be closed in February. The collection will be donated to the school library after black history month, and all profits will be donated to Black Lives Matter resources.

Email Brooke_Gibbas@student.uml.edu for more info and to submit a postcard or send cards to Arts Research Collaborative, 82 Prescott St., Lowell, MA 01852
