Networking Resources and Information


Social media helps you be proactive in your job search, and can meaningfully increase the likelihood of uncovering the job opportunities that never get posted.  Here is advice on using LinkedIn and Twitter, two popular social media sites, to network your way to career connections.

Toastmasters International is a world leader in helping people become more competent and comfortable in front of an audience. The nonprofit organization now has nearly 250,000 members in more than 12,500 clubs in 106 countries, offering a proven – and enjoyable! – way to practice communication and leadership skills.  Two local Toastmasters clubs are Synergists (meetings at Juniper Networks in Westford) and Westford Expressions (meetings at the Westford Public Library).
