In addition to her curriculum development, instruction and student coaching with undergraduates at UML, Kim Bilawchuk runs her own career coaching business, helping young professionals get ìunstuckî and find rewarding careers.  Kim brings more than 15 years of corporate and academic counseling experience to help her clients explore their career goals, assess their skills, and develop essential career tools. Prior to starting her own practice, Kim coached and counseled professionals in a variety of corporate technology and financial services settings at companies such as Teradyne and BNY Mellon Financial. She has also counseled students of all ages and backgrounds at many local college and universities, including UMass Lowell, Babson College, Boston University and Boston College. Kim is a Myers-Briggs Type Indicator Æ(MBTIÆ) Certified Practitioner and serves as a workshop facilitator for networking, interview skills, negotiation skills, and job search strategies.

Areas of Expertise & Professional Interests

Kim has a strong background and experience in career coaching and counseling, with a specific area of expertise in utilizing social media for job search, and the power of building and maintaining professional networks. At UMass Lowell, she coaches and instructs undergraduate Plastics Engineering and Computer Science students enrolled in the Professional Co-op program.
