Throughout her career, Sandhya has worked in various capacities and successfully collaborated across higher education institutions and engaged stakeholders in meaningful partnerships aimed at leveraging benefits for students. Sandhya joined the Co-op team in 2010 to lead the implementation of the co-op program in the College of Sciences. Sandhya has held other positions at UMass Lowell as the Industrial Liaison/Market Research Analyst for M2D2 and Program Manager for funded partnership aimed at enhancing college success among first generation high school students. In India, Sandhya served as professor and chairperson for several years in a department specializing in business and corporate studies where she was in charge of departmental administration, curriculum development and led the efforts to establish a mandatory internship program for undergraduates.

Sandhyaís areas of expertise include the design, development and implementation of new programs in higher education. A Certified Global Career Development Facilitator, Sandhya specializes in career coaching in the field of Science & Technology through skills assessment and interest identification. A strong collaborator across many cross-functional teams, she has successfully established strong relationships with regional employers to enhance co-op opportunities for students.
