Undergraduate

This site is intended to answer many of the questions about financial aid that current or prospective undergraduates may have. If, after reviewing this material, you still have questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us.

As an undergraduate student you may qualify for scholarships, grants (gift aid that does not need to be repaid), loans (money lent to a student that requires repayment during a specified period, usually following the termination of studies) or employment (Federal or University sponsored on campus work for all or a portion of an academic year). To qualify for financial assistance you must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), available from any high school guidance office or UMass Lowell's Financial Aid Office. You can also choose to apply online at The U.S. Department of Education's FAFSA Web Site*.
