The RHSA Social Impact Fellowship is a transformative opportunity empowering RHSA students to shape their careers and positively contribute to the Greater Lowell community. Students can engage with nonprofits, community organizations, and government agencies in the Greater Lowell area, creating a pathway for impactful involvement. Collaborating with partner organizations not only allows students to contribute to social impact initiatives but also provides invaluable insights into their chosen fields. This experience is a dynamic blend of career-building and community service. Through active engagement with partner organizations, students gain practical experience, develop crucial skills, and meaningfully contribute to the community's social fabric. The Social Impact Fellowship stands as a testament to the RHSA program's commitment to holistic student development and community impact.
Social Impact Fellowship positions require that students complete 150 hours of meaningful community work at a Lowell organization over the course of an academic year and complete a final project that they present to a small audience to celebrate what they accomplished and showcase what they learned. Students who successfully apply for one of these positions and complete the requirements earn a $2,500 tuition scholarship.
