The Provost outlined changes to academic policies for the Spring 2020 / Fall 2020 and Spring 2021 semesters. If you have additional questions, please reach out to your faculty or professional advisor.
Students may submit an undergraduate academic petition to request a pass/no credit grading option.
Undergraduate students may begin petitioning for p/nc starting May 8 – May 12, 2021.
It is important to note the possible impacts on your Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) status which could impact financial eligibility in future semesters. Pass (P) grade will count as earned credits, but will have no impact on your GPA. No Credit (NC) grade will count as attempted, but not earned credits. Pass/No Credit grades will be included in calculating your completion rate for SAP, however, will have no impact on improving your GPA. Students will continue to be reviewed for Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) standards at the end of spring semester. Students will have the opportunity to appeal if SAP standards are not met. Please review the university’s SAP policy.
