The Upper-Class Women in Science & Engineering (W.I.S.E.) Living-Learning Community is intended to scaffold upon the First-Year W.I.S.E. LLC experience through helping women to further hone leadership skills and to prepare them to navigate the complex work environment they may enter as engineers or scientists. Through participation in this Upper-Class LLC experience, students are exposed to various resources to help identify goals and prepare for their future career. Individualized free tutoring is offered to all Upper-Class W.I.S.E. students that is major specific, as well as private drop-in hours at the Dean of Engineering’s Office that will enhance students’ professional development. Dedicated Faculty Advisor’s empower the community and help to promote personal and academic success, as this LLC is open to all Upper-Class students whom identify as women and are majoring in either engineering or one of the sciences. This LLC is sponsored by the Francis College of Engineering and the Kennedy College of Sciences.
