Advocates of Tomorrow students socialize at a program on designing an inclusive residential community. Living-Learning Communities (LLCs) provide students the opportunity to explore common interests with other students in their living environment. Through living and participating in an LLC, students will be provided with intentional and meaningful opportunities that will help them to make purposeful links between the academic and co-curricular components of their college experience.

Kick-Off Your LLC Experience

Each Fall semester we host welcome back, or Kick-Off Events, for all of our Living-Learning Community (LLC) students!

Kick-Off Events are hosted for each LLC to promote campus connections, build relationships and increase engagement among the students within our 38 LLCs!

First-Year LLC students move-in on Saturday, September 1. We hope you will join us for a GIANT kick-off event at 6 p.m. that is JUST for LLC students!

Within the first two weeks of the new academic year, each LLC will host its own mini-Kick Off event for all of their residents!

Opening Week is your opportunity to get to know your classmates, professors and the UMass Lowell campus. Check out all the fun activities we have planned.

For questions about your LLC Kick-Off Event, please contact your Resident Advisor (RA), Resident Director (RD), or Area Coordinator (AC)!
