Zachary started his experience in Residence Life in the fall of 2016 where he served as a Resident Advisor for the Honors LLC in Leitch Hall. The following year Zachary was promotedto the Senior Resident Advisor position in Leitch Hall where worked for two years. In the spring of 2019 Zachary graduated with his Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a Business Administration Minor and was accepted to the Assistant Area Coordinator position.Zachary strives to create a positive and welcoming environment in River Hawk Village and looks forward to improving the on-campus living experience.
Outside of his work in Residence Life, Zachary is pursuing a Master's Degree in Energy Engineering where he is working on his thesis regarding characterization and commercilization of a new flow battery electrolyte. Zachary is using this research to attempt to create a company to manufacture this electrolyte and help improve the energy storage industry. Zachary has a passion for renewable energy and energy storage and has been doing research on flow batteries since his freshman year of his Bachelor's Degree.
