I have enjoyed attending the various workshops and events organized by the Career & Co-op Center. I have attended the Career Cafe Resume Workshop, Career Fair Prep Workshop, and the Spring Career Fair. I have also met with counselors on multiple occasions for resume review, internship search assistance, job searching, as well as interviewing skills.
I had the pleasure of working at the Career & Co-op Center for two years. I have not only gained so much knowledge and skills from the team but have made relationships that will last for a long time even after I graduate. They have been excellent in coaching, mentoring and providing the necessary assistance. I sincerely extend a big thank you to the entire staff.
When I graduate, I start my new role as a Business Development Representative (BDR) at TimeTrade. My ultimate career goal is to become a successful sales professional providing high value solutions to large enterprise customers and be their trusted advisor.
I would strongly recommend students to attend the various events organized by the Career & Co-op Center as it will help them to be well prepared, build confidence as well as network with prospective recruiters. I believe in the saying “Your Network is Your Net worth.”
