Originally from the Dominican Republic, Diana is a graduate student at UMass Lowell, pursuing her Master Degree in Community Social Psychology. Prior to joining OMA, she worked as an Enrollment Assistant at Middlesex Community College, aiding current and perspective students. At UMass Lowell, Diana started the first children-friendly organization, UML Parents' Club, supporting parenting students on campus. Her extensive experience with student activities and clubs at both MCC and UMass Lowell, as well as working with minorities and the homeless population in the community of Lowell, led her to become part of the Multicultural Office as our Graduate Assistant for the 2017-2018 academic year. Some of her job responsibilities include providing support, leadership, and guidance in office programs, initiatives, and services directly related to the office mission and vision, as well as assisting in the continued enhancement of our culture that welcomes and celebrates all students through the infusion of diversity and inclusion throughout the college experience.
