B.S. - Public Health - UMass Lowell
Daniel Howell is serving as the Graduate Intern in the Health Education Sector of the UMass Lowell Wellness Center.
After graduating from UMass Lowell in May 2016, Daniel soon found himself being accepted to Graduate school to continue his studies and receive his Masters in Public Health with a specialization in Healthcare Management. He has always been a person who enjoys seeing others prosper. With his position in the Wellness Center he is really excited to be able to work on programs around campus to better the choices and lifestyles of the students who live and study within it. Some of his most enjoyable experiences in his undergrad career was the ability to meet so many people from all walks of life and hear their stories, be able to grow along with his MALES Brothers, working in the Riverview Fitness Center and his senior internship at the Lowell Health Department working on the opioid epidemic in and around the Lowell area.
Fun Fact: Daniel is very into fitness and has been training in the sport of powerlifting for three years now. He has achieved a lot in the time frame while still working and studying for school. He recently placed first in his weight class at a powerlifting meet.
