The Healthy HAWKS is a peer health education volunteer student group that provides students an easily accessible and relatable health resource. As an extension of the Wellness Center, our goal is to be involved in the growth of UMass Lowell as a university that is proud of a healthy student environment.

Double River Hawk Daniel Howell is serving as CHOICES Coordinator in the Health Education and Promotion Department of the UMass Lowell Wellness Center.

During his time as both an Undergraduate and Graduate student at UMass Lowell, Dan held many positions across various Student Organizations as well as within the Wellness Center. In his current role, he facilitates and coordinates the CHOICES sanctioned classes.

Fun Fact: Daniel is very into fitness and has been training in the sport of powerlifting for more than five years. He holds various records in powerlifting.
