Health Education & Promotion is here to help!
As part of the Wellness Center, Health Education & Promotion offers a variety of resources and information to help students make the best choices for themselves. We discuss these common health topics and how they connect to each other:
A major part of our team are the Healthy H.A.W.K.S., a volunteer peer health education student group that serves as an easily accessible and relatable health resource for UMass Lowell students. Follow the Hawks on Facebook to keep up to date with their programs and check out their upcoming events!
Another important student group is the Campus Advocates for Prevention Education (CAPEs). These students offer their peers education and advocacy on sexual violence and mental health to create a safer, healthier UMass Lowell!
To find out more about our services, students may speak directly with their health care provider at the time of an appointment or contact one of our Health Educators.
