Jody Goldstein Joined UMass Lowell in 2001 and has been working with students in Disability Services at the University since 2009. She was named Director of the department in 2011. Jody has a Masters in Social Work as well as a Post Masters certification in school counseling. Prior to working for the University she worked in Rehabilitation Hospital settings with patients who experienced traumatic brain and spinal cord injuries. Under Jody’s leadership, Disability Services initiated and developed a Peer Mentoring Program to support students with Disabilities, an early move in Transitions Program for freshman with different abilities and Disability Awareness Programming that impacts the culture and attitudes in which students with Disabilities are viewed and included on campus. She also co-facilitates a Social Support Group for students in the Autism Spectrum.
