Virtual Drop-In Assistance: Co-op Program

Drop-in assistance is an excellent starting point for quick questions about the co-op program or job search. Can't find a time to meet with your Co-op Coordinator?  Try a drop-in to get pointed in the right direction. Assistance is provided on a first-come, first-served basis during 15-minute consultations with member of the Co-op Staff.

Drop-in schedule is as follows (from first day of classes until the last day of classes): 

  • Monday-Thursday, 2 to 4 p.m.
  • Friday, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Scheduled Co-op Appointments

  • Scheduled appointments are 30-minutes in duration with a Professional Co-op staff member.  
  • Students in the Professional Co-op Program are encouraged to schedule their co-op appointments with their specific Co-op Coordinator.
  • These appointments are good for Co-op related career exploration conversations, complex resume questions, practice interviews, a comprehensive job search strategy meeting, or salary negation questions.

Appointment Policies

Just as our staff members are held to high standards of professional conduct, we have similar expectations of our students' behaviors. Please note that disruptive or similarly unproductive behaviors may lead to a termination or suspension of services.

A “no-show” is a scheduled appointment with a Career & Co-op Center staff member which is missed (or for which the student/alumnus is more than 10 minutes late) without prior notification. Three cumulative no-shows may result in a termination of services, including but not limited to, career advising appointments, on-campus / practice interviews, and career events.

Alumni are welcome to make free unlimited career advising appointments during their first year following graduation and up to three appointments per year thereafter.
